I kind of don't have a lot of sympathy for streamers that know about the JKR terf shit and choose to stream the game anyway, and like I *guess* some people could just be unaware of it but like... at this point im skeptical of claims like that because she's been so outspoken and pervasive, along with the internet going rancid over it.
But ultimately, if people in a streamer's community says "hey playing this game will feel like a betrayal if you truly care about being good to people" then the streamer doesn't get to be surprised when a bunch of people act like they've been betrayed.
I do suspect some of the worst people imaginable are also using this as an excuse to harass people, but I feel like most of it is just streamers getting deluged with a bunch of people saying hey this sucks I feel bad, and that can feel like harassment when there's so much of it, even if any specific instance isn't like, malicious.

the ranting between and amongst the groups and such does not appear grounded in face to face reality,...the whole thing is occuring in the binary world of zero's and ones. While many are spewing vile things and victimhood from the comfort of chairs with wheels...That is a world I chose to NOT enter. Relieved that I was able to make the choice at the time. For it seems that one cannot even socialize or monetize in the upcoming world without this footprint and the vile-ness and insincerity of intent, and tribalism seems unable to aviod. Grateful that I am unable to comment, or even comprehend the issues or even care. Different demands on one's life in diffrent stages may do that it may also alters ones perception of pertiant issues and what is important in life. Good luck to you all who get it, and who are stuck having to inhabit that world! WOW...
I liked your final thought on the ai section. It reflects the unpredictable nature the ai thing might play out, as if we're playing circle dodgeball and we're the ones inside the circle not knowing who is gonna get hit next.
The Biden deepfakes are pretty good and I will say much better than the "sell the snyderverse to netflix" ai deepfakes, which almost sound nothing like the character.
The hogwarts legacy thing was good to touch on because the ability of protesters to affect low level streamers but not some of the big guns. (I've seen amouranth stream the game in twitch) low level streamers chasing clout should realize they are more vulnerable to these campaigns and factor that in before making a choice they have to apologize for.
I loved your point on the Chinese social credit thing. A lot of trend stories are to quick to be "no drawbacks to this thing!". Helps that China was an informative host to @ryanpornstar.
